SUMMER WORKOUTS -- Coming to you June 8th!

Summer Workouts are scheduled to start virtually on Monday, June 8th! Please fill out this Google Form to express interest in the summer program and provide the time(s) you are available to train. Please select all of the times you have available so that Coach Garrish can organize the groups accordingly.

WEEKLY TRAINING SCHEDULE

Monday: Afternoon Training Groups on Zoom. Times TBD
Emphasis: Lower Body Training – Estimated Training Session Schedule

0:00-0:10 Check-In & Readiness/Recovery Survey
0:10-0:15 General Warm-Up
0:15-0:30 Lower Body Plyometric Exercises
0:30-0:45 Primary Lower Body Strength and Mobility Exercises
0:45-0:60 Secondary Lower Body Strength and Mobility Exercises

Group 1: Coed Middle School. Time TBD.
Group 2: Girls High School. Time TBD.
Group 3: Boys High School. Time TBD.

Tuesday: Afternoon Training Groups on Zoom. Times TBD
Emphasis: Upper Body Training – Estimated Training Session Schedule

Wednesday: Student-Submitted Sprint Videos
Emphasis: Speed and Sprint-Specific Technical Development

I will send out a weekly request for submission of a sprinting video of yourself to be performed whenever you have the time, on whatever surface you have available to you. Once I receive the videos I’ll review your technique and send it back to you with some things to work on, just like I would if we were together!

Friday: Locomotive Plyometric Training on Your Own
I’ll send you a plyometric workout to perform on your own. Locomotive Plyometrics are movements like Power Skips, Gallops and Bounds that help develop overall athleticism. If you can, I’d suggest you do these drills on a grassy area outside but first and foremost be safe and comfortable!! I’ll have alternatives if you do not feel comfortable going outside.
