*Congratulations to Varsity Ice Hockey Team - 2019 FPSHL Champions *
The NB Varsity Hockey Team is back on top! After falling short in last year’s tournament, the boys came out this year ready to earn the title back. The Team has worked hard the entire season battling each and every time they took the ice. The Eagles finished the league season off with an 18-2 record securing the #1 seed in the FPSHL Championship Tournament. The boys proved they deserved that spot defeating Cypress Bay 13-2 in the semifinals. The Eagles did not stop there…they took on Miami-Dade in a best of 3 Championship Series and only needed two games to earn the title. The team defeated Miami-Dade 7-4 in Game #1 and 12-3 in Game #2 to take back the 2019 FPSHL Championship Trophy! They are now preparing to take part in the 2019 State Tournament which will take place locally on February 22nd – 24th at the Panther Ice Den in Coral Springs.
