NB Team of the Week – Boys Varsity Soccer

The Boys Varsity Soccer Team has once again earned the title of Team of the Week.
The Eagles are on Fire!! On Saturday night, the Varsity Boys hosted the American Heritage-Delray Stallions in the 2017 Regional Semifinals. The Eagles stepped out on the field with a never give up attitude and let’s just say that it paid off…with only about 3 minutes left in regulation the boys were down 1-0 but thanks to a beautiful free kick by sophomore Jerry Edouard the Eagles tied it up 1-1 forcing the game to go into overtime. Again, with the never give up attitude the Boys only needed 7 minutes of the 1st overtime period to silence the Heritage players and fans. This time it was a beautiful free kick by junior Danny Espinosa which found the head of senior Eddie Reyna who flicked the ball into the back of the net and clinched the victory for the Eagles over the Stallions 2-1. The Team will now travel to Immaculata- LaSalle High School tonight for a 7:00pm Regional Final Game. The Eagles look to continue their never give-up attitude in this win or go home game. We hope to see all of you down at the game tonight to help cheer your Eagles soccer team to another victory and a spot in the 2017 FHSAA State Semifinals!
